How to keep your life Bed Bug free.

Check for bed bug signs before you move in

Buying second-hand furniture

Second hand bed-frames and second hand furniture that has been positioned or stored in an infested bedroom is a high risk factor in triggering a bed bug problem.  If you are buying antique or second hand bed-frames,  you need to be confident that the these are free of infestation.  If in doubt, don’t take the chance.

After a holiday or staying away from home

If you have been staying overnight in a bedroom that  could possibly have been infested with bedbugs (you will probably have been bitten ) then you need to take some precautions when returning home in order to avoid infesting your own premises.  Check  suitcases thoroughly for bugs and treat all your clothes as follows:

Either machine wash at 60°C or tumble dry on ‘hot’ for at least 30 minutes
